Br'ntain (Brountain)Name Pronounced: Bur-in-tane Appearance: Standing at the height of five feet and ten inches tall, Br'ntain was once considered a mountain of a man when he was younger. Though this is no longer the case as he has seemed to of thinned a little in the past few turns just from getting older. He is not exactly the spry young bluerider that he was many turns ago, and it's starting to show even has his activity level is starting to drop. It's not that he is intentionally doing less work, but the turns are finally starting to catch up to him and he just does not have the energy that the newly graduated youngsters do. Do not let this place any doubt in his abilities though! He is still more then capable of doing more then non-riders are able to do! Despite thinning out a little in the past few turns, his frame is still fairly broad and has some defined muscles to it that are rather obvious from his decades of being a dragonrider. His shoulders are still as broad as they were when he was younger, making his hips look slim even though they are not actually that slim at all! Personality: Most of the time Br'ntain is a perfectly nice man. In every day life he seems friendly enough - chatty, cheerful, good-mannered. History: Born on the twenty-fourth day of the second month, Brountain was the last son born to a sailor and a drudge at a decently sized seahold near Fort Weyr. A side from having a strong love for the sea and getting into his fair share of fights as a child, there was never anything unusual about his childhood that stood out. Well, other then getting beaten up by a girl when he was five turns old, but he would never admit to that ever happening. In his defense, she was twice his age. That alone made the fight pretty unfair if you ever brought it up and he would stick firmly to that fact. Information about Br'ntain (Brountain)'s pets Pet Name: Montley Pet Type: Canine Appearance: Standing at twenty-six inches tall at the shoulder, Montley surely can not be mistaken for a small canine. This boy is quite clearly a very large canine, if not the largest one that was in his litter. As to weather or not all of his great large size is due to just his build alone is the real question, though. While his build gives him this height, his fur is what helps to make him look even bigger then what he may actually be. With half of an inch of a very dense undercoat laying close to his skin, he has another half of an inch of a full and slightly wavy outer coat. If one was to rub their hand down his body, they would feel the well built muscles that are hidden very well by the coarse fur. All over his body, his muscles are very well developed. If he was to be shaved down, there would be no doubt in his ability to take on just about anything. With the obvious exceptions being whers and dragons. Personality: To be added when updated. Information about Br'ntain (Brountain)'s dragon Dragon Name: Okebath (Oak-e-Bath) Colour: Blue Age: 33 Wing (Weyrling Group): None Appearance: Come in at just roughly over thirty feet in legnth, there is no doubt in anyone's mine that Okebath is one big boy! If fact, if his color was not so obviously blue, one might even thing that he was a brown due to his rather large size. With his large size comes his large wingspan to match it almost perfectly. The key word there being almost perfectly as his wings are actually just a tad bit bigger then they actually should be. Not that it is noticeable enough for anyone to really notice that easily. Aside from this tad bit of extra wing mass, everything else on his body is perfect for a blue of his size. If one was to actually study the way his hunches seemed to be when he walks, they would notice that he walks with a limp to one of his hunches. This is due to an obvious reason as a deep thread scar runs across the full width of his left hind leg. While the healers were worried about permanent damage to his leg, it is easy to tell that he no longer even notices his scar or the fact that he lips unless it either itches or it is brought to his attention. Personality: Being almost the typical blue in personality, Okebath is a calm opposite of his lifemate. There is not much of anything in all of Pern that could get him upset. In all of the decades of his life, this blue has never been upset enough to raise his voice more then a handful of times. Those times that he did raise his voice were during situations that would of had the other colors wanting to disappear into the darkness of /between/ just to escape. Though he toughed it out and he used his calm demeanor to get the situation under control. It is this calm personality trait of his that has proven to be useful in more then one situation. While his calmness helps to counter his lifemate's fits of rage, it also helps him stay calm during thread fall or help to keep other wingmates of his calm during thread fall. Weyr of Origin: Fort Abilites and weaknesses: Being a dragon that has his experienced showing on his hide, Okebath truly is almost the perfect dragon for the job when it comes to mind set. This is mainly due to the fact that he is very hard to panic during a fall or any emergency type of situation. Him being hard to panic as come in help in more then one situation for most of his life. If there is a new rider that is fresh out of weyrlinghood that seems to be having a hard time, he will be the calm voice that will help to keep them from stressing out or panicking as well. His calm mind set has always proved his usefulness in fall and almost always seems to help make up for his weaknesses.
